Tanmoy Mondal
I’m a research associate at the department of chemistry, joined OSML in 2022. currently working on C-H oxidation. I completed my PhD from OSML itself in 2022. I earned my MSc and BSc degrees from IIT Guwahati (2016) and SKB University, W.B. (2014) respectively. Outside chemistry I enjoy eating hanging out with friends.

I'm a Research Associate. I joined OSML in 2022, exploring transition metal-catalyzed annulative pi-extension reactions on the NHC platform via C–H activation/annulation toward the synthesis of optoelectronically important pi-extended heteroaromatics, including hetero nanographenes and heterohelicenes. I completed my PhD from OSML, IISERB in 2022. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, in 2015. I relish cooking and watching movies.

Sanajit Mandal
I joined IISER Bhopal and OSML as a PhD scholar in 2017. I'm working on the development of homogeneous electrocatalyst by using first-row transition metal for CO2 reduction and hydrogen evolution from water. I completed my BSc and MSc from Vidyasagar University, 2015 and BHU, Varanasi, 2017, respectively. Outside chemistry, I enjoy singing, playing guitar and cooking, .

Samim Sohel Rana

I joined IISER Bhopal and OSML as a PhD scholar in 2018. I'm working on NHC-directed C–H activation–functionalization catalysis based on Rh and Co catalysts. My work particularly focuses on accessing cationic planar and nonplanar hetero- nanographenic molecules containing azolium backbones via bottom-up approaches. Besides research, I love to watch football and travel to different places. I am a huge fan of Messi and the Barcelona football club.

Ravi Kumar
I'm an IPhD scholar at IISER Bhopal. I joined OSML in 2018, working on small molecule activation by hydrogenation reaction through homogenous catalysis. During MS I worked on ligand effect in hydrogenation reactions by Ir-NHC based catalysts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Delhi University, Delhi, in 2016. Outside research I enjoy practicing yoga asanas, reading books, watching movies and walking.

During MS I worked on ligand effect in hydrogenation reactions by Ir-NHC based catalysts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Delhi University, Delhi, in 2016. Outside research I enjoy watching movies, reading books & comics, and travelling.

Manisha Pal
I joined IISER Bhopal and OSML as a PhD scholar in fall 2022. I'm working on NHC-directed C–H activation–functionalization catalysis based on Rh and Co catalysts. My work particularly focuses on accessing cationic planar and nonplanar hetero- nanographenic molecules containing azolium backbones via bottom-up approaches. Outside chemistry I enjoy eating, cooking and travelling.

I'm a PhD scholar at IISER Bhopal. I joined OSML in spring 2023, working on small molecule activation by hydrogenation reaction through homogenous catalysis. I earned my bachelor’s and master's degree from University of Calcutta (2019) and Pondicherry University (2021) respectively. Outside research I enjoy practicing reading books, watching movies and walking.

Chandana Sunil
I am a final year BS-MS student in the chemistry department, joined OSML in August 2022 for my MS thesis project to work on Electrochemical Carbon dioxide reduction. Apart from my thesis work I enjoy gardening, hanging with friends, solving puzzles, and tutoring students in chemistry and mathematics.

Mrityunjay Giri

I’m a final year BS-MS student at the department of chemistry, joined OSML in August 2022 for my MS thesis project to work on synthesis and resolution of polycyclic aromatic compounds (azahelicenes) via Rh-catalyzed annulation methods and study of their photophysical properties. Outside chemistry I enjoy learning new soft skills, spelling creative lines, hanging with friends, running, and working out.
